All our cake stands are made from the very best quality Mdf, they are very strong & sturdy. We do however test all of our stands before they are sent out, the larger cake stands e.g. 18'' & 20'' MAY come with a centre support if we feel necessary, it depends on the chosen design, we often get asked if the stands will hold a big 5 tier cake the answer is 'yes' & with ease.
